HOLIDAY OFFICE PARTAY HOW-TO

December is here and the inevitable holiday parties are on the way.
Here’s our bag of tricks for surviving your holiday work party with your job – and sanity – in tact.  Let’s get festive.

1.  TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.

Number one – get there on time, obvi. You wouldn’t show up late for work, and this is no different, even though there’s copious amounts of alcohol and music involved.

2. DRESS TO IMPRESS.

Know the party’s dress code before you go. Ugly sweaters? Our fave. Sexy Santa suits? Not so much.

3. DON’T DRINK TIL YOU DROP.

Seriously, don’t do it. You’ll thank us in the morning.

4. LEAVE YOUR TINDER DATE AT HOME.

Make sure your plus one is appropriate to bring. BFF OR SO? Hellyeah. Tinder date you just met? Probs not.

5. DON’T BE A DEBBIE DOWNER.

Don’t trash talk your company, coworkers, boss, janitor, self, ANYONE. Just don’t do it.

6. SAVE YOUR CONFESSIONS FOR CHURCH.

Now is not the best time to profess your undying love for your office crush. Trust us – avoid the mistletoe.

7. DON’T DANCE LIKE NOBODY’S WATCHING.

TBH – they totally are. Just don’t do anything Miley Cyrus would do.

8. SAVE YOUR TERRIBLE JOKES FOR YOUR STANDUP ROUTINE.

Just because you have a captive audience doesn’t mean that you should go for it. Skip the risk of offending someone and save the bad jokes.

9. DON’T TRY TO PLAY PEREZ HILTON.

Your Insta feed isn’t the front page of TMZ. Nobody in your office wants to see that the next day.

10. DON’T TAP OUT EARLY.

Just like you don’t wanna be late, don’t leave early. You might think you’re sneaky, but everyone will notice. Really.
